INFORMATION ON PRESENTATIONS AND FEES

Oral presentations

Each oral contribution will have altogether 15 minutes including discussions. Projector will be available at the meeting rooms. Please bring your PowerPoint presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint  format on CD or flash disk  to the meeting room. Please hand over your presentation upon arrival at the registration desk!!

Poster presentations

Poster size:

• Maximum width: 80 cm
• Maximum height: 100 cm

Please put out your poster in the morning of the day of your session and take it down at the end of the day.

Fees

Registration fee:

NO FEES – The registration fee will be paid by Kuwait University.

The registration will include the following items:

• Conference program, Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings (on CD)
  Reception
• Social Activities
• Admission to the conference rooms on 08 to 10 March 2009
• Field trip to Sabah Al-Ahmed Natural Reserve (11 March 2009)

All attendees are responsible for their boarding and lodging, however, free lunch and two coffee breaks will be provided to attendees.

Kuwait Airways (KA) welling to give 30% discount for the participants. Kindly contact the (KA) regional office in your country.

 
Participation fee of the Post-Conference Field Trip to UAE (12-14 March 2009):

·        Participants arrange their own travel and accommodation to UAE.

·        Transportation and light refreshments during the field trip are arranged and free of charge.

·        We recommend to to book your flight return to exit from Dubai Airport as the participants will not return to Kuwait.

Hotel Accommodation:

For participants who would like to stay at a hotel, special rates are arranged at Swiss-Belhotel Plaza: 

·        Single room                     30 K.D./day (= 110 $)

·        Double room                   45 K.D./day (= 165 $)

·        Free transportation from Kuwait Airport to the hotel.

·        Free transportation to the conference venue once in the morning and back to the hotel once in the evening.
